Easter with Gran and Pop - April 2010

In April we had a wonderful visit with Gran and Pop in Kiawah Island, SC. Mariana loved going to the playground, taking wagon rides with Pop, swimming in the pool, playing in the sand, and going on her first Easter egg hunt! But over and above all the rest, Mariana had great fun just spending time with her Gran and Pop!

Mariana's Irish Adventure - March 6-17, 2010

In March we took Mariana on her first international flight to visit Granny Anna, Granda Norman and Uncle Derek! We had an unbelievable trip and were able to visit lots of family and friends. The weather was beautiful with sun EVERYDAY - quite rare for Ireland in March! Mariana loved visiting Dundrum Castle, Dundrum Bay, The Kent's Amusement Arcade, Castlewellan Castle, the playground in Newcastle and Murlough House (where Mommy and Daddy Sprout met). However, her favorite part of the trip was spending time with her Granny Anna and Granda Norman!

Making up for Lost Time!!

Where does the time go? Not so sure these days, but I can tell you that our growing sprout blog has taken a back burner, while our "growing sprout" just continues right on growing. Mariana is 23 months old and a barrel of fun!!

I apologize to all our regular viewers who have given up on us, but will attempt to capture a few fun memories from January through July 2010! What a busy time this has been. As many of you know we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our "Second Sprout" -ETA August 6th! With this in mind, we plan to use the blog more regularly to update friends and family as we welcome our little guy into the world. With this said, it's time for Mommy Sprout to get on the ball and make up for lost time.

Walking, walking, walking!!

On January 22,2010 Mariana began walking! We are so proud of her and I must admit she is pretty proud of herself! This is a whole new world! We are hoping to get pictures of her in action, but have yet to do so! Stay tuned!! I promise to be better about sending updates...

Christmas in Hershey - 2009!

We had a wonderful Christmas with family in Hershey and were able to share some exciting news! The Kennedy Clan is expecting! Mariana will become a big sister in August 2010! Mommy spent Christmas feeling a bit rough, but fun was had by all!

Mariana was very excited to be able to spend time with Gran and Pop, Nana, and all her "state-side" aunts, uncles and cousins! The house was full, but what fun it was to experience the excitement of Christmas through the eyes of a child! We are truly blessed!!

First Snow of 2009!

On December 18, 2009 we had our first big snow fall of the year. We got 10 inches of snow and were forced to delay our travels to Pennsylvania by several days. We took advantage of the delay by building snowmen, playing in the snow, building big fires in the fireplace and going for snow walks! Fun was had by all!!

Warm December Day!

At 16 months old Mariana has become very active. She loves to play outside and the swing set in our backyard has become quite a hit. She gets upset if we don't get to play outside at least for a little while every day, which is fine by Mommy, who loves the outdoors! The slide is her favorite and as you can see, she is very close to being able to walk! Busy times are ahead!!

Daddy's Birthday!

On November 25th Daddy Sprout celebrated yet another Birthday and Mariana was so excited! She actually sang him Happy Birthday, which has become her favorite song! One of these days, I will learn how to attach the video feed to the blog,as it is adorable! What a sweet girl!
